A Tried And True Method To Make Money Writing

December 21st 2008 23:19
No Bullcrap in this post. Sorry for neglecting this blog for so long!

Ok, everyone knows you can submit articles here and there at places like Associated Content, Constant Content, Helium, Daily Article, etc.. If you are lucky, you will either get an up-front payment along with piddly residuals or someone will buy it flat out. Let me show you an easy way to make a killing.

The first thing you will want to do is visit Clickbank. You can either go to www.clickbank.com or you can go here (my affiliate link thing) Really Long Link if you want. I'm not sure what it does, probably nothing for us writers lol. You might need to sign up with them to see the next few areas but trust me, it's worth it. It's free to sign up anyway.

Ok, Go over and click the Marketplace area. You should see a screen with categories divided into: Business, Health, Home, Computing, Etc.. Click on one of those to see the products Clickbank has available for people to sell for them. We aren't interested in selling anything but it's interesting to get a "behind the scenes" look at how many people on the Internet are making money. They create and sell this junk and get thousands of other people to sell it too! This is where we come in.

People REALLY want to start their own home business so they can simply set up a website, hock the crap on Clickbank and become lazy, millionaires! Hell, I want that too but I realize it's not that easy. Either way, THOUSANDS of people will try anyway. They will also have a lot of money to invest. The first problem they will face is that they have an empty website. They NEED content. Luckily for us, we just so happen to write content!!

Anyway, all you have to do is click the "View Pitch Page" link below any product and it will take you to that particular product's website. Check it out, and if you feel like you could write a few articles related to that product, go for it. If not, browse around until you find something that isn't too bad.

Now, you have your Clickbank product and a handful of articles about that product. You should gear the articles to be positive but not blatantly "salesy".

People want these articles and they want them yesterday! There are many places to sell these articles. Hell, if you are ambitious enough, start your own website where you ONLY sell Clickbank articles and watch the money pour in.

I highly recommend joining some Clickbank or Affiliate Marketing forums because most of these will have a buy/sell area. You can usually get between $5-$20 per article depending on the quality, length, or whatever.

I recommend Constant Content and Daily Article if you just want to set them somewhere and see what happens. If you hock them on forums though, you can usually get paid in a matter of hours or even minutes which is pretty damn handy.

Here's some forums to check out:
Digital Point
Clickbankforum
abestweb
Warrior Forum

There are hundreds more. Just use Google.

Sure, writing about some of this crap is very boring but it is guaranteed to make you money. Period.

Good luck! If you have some success, feel free to leave a comment for others!!

Thanks for visiting!

Great advice as always! I'm going to go check this stuff out right now!

Another topic, I applied to Demand Studios over a week ago and have not heard anything back yet. Does it normally take them awhile to go through the initial application process?

I wanted to thank you for listing TextBroker on here. I have already made in one day, the same amount it took me a month to earn on Associated Content.

Keep the great info coming. Thank you!

Demand Studios can take a while. With Christmas right around the corner It will take longer. Be patient though and you will hear from them. About.com takes months for a response lol.

Thank you! I keep forgetting that things take longer around the holidays. I'm still going full force...Why aren't they?

I did sign up for Daily Article, but I am concerned that they do not seem to have a privacy policy for writers. I also do not see them listed with the BBB or any other assurance agency. I usually do not divulge any information under these circumstances but did so on the strength of this recommendation.

Any thoughts on that, anyone? Does anyone else here have experience with Daily Article?

I just signed up with and submitted an article to Daily Article today. I'll be posting my findings on my blog as soon as I hear something. Click on my name if you wanna check my blog.

Ok, so WHAT EXACTLY are the articles over?
The whole concept of "articles" seems vague. What are these written articles about?

Who decides what the content of the article will be...and how it should all be formulated?!

In many cases the articles can be about anything you want them to be. How to's, opinion, editorial, reviews, it depends on what you want to talk to others about. If you would like some examples take a look at my Associated Content page Really Long Link
and wander around to some of the other content producer's pages, there is a huge variety of writing styles to be found.

You write a batch of articles about one of the specific ClickBank products. Generally, you can't go wrong with some type of positive review.

I am doing some ghost writing for a company that involves rewriting some pretty empty product articles 3X each at a dollar per rewrite. I have come to realize that Daily Article or someplace like it must be where these articles are going. They are fairly generic, could be easily adapted to fit a general product description, and don't really say much. I could do a whole heckuva lot better than that writing my own general product descriptions and selling them myself, so I am definitely going to give this a try.

It didn't take long for Demand Studios to accept me and it doesn't take long for them to accept your work. For me, usually within a couple of days of my assignments being accepted, I see money on my PayPal account. After that I just transfer the money from my PayPal account to savings account. It is quick and easy.

I love that site.
