Sponsored Reviews!

While doing some research this morning I came across a site called Sponsored Reviews. This site pays bloggers (like a lot of people reading this blog) for reviewing all kinds of products that you can select from an advertiser list.

Your blog needs to be 3 month old and not collecting dust but it seems to pay pretty well. I just added a couple of mine to the list and they are pending approval.

Surveys,

These are usually people's first attempt at "making money online" and 99% of them go horribly wrong. Right? You get flooded e-mails full of garbage and you don't make a cent.

Well, I've done the research for you and if you are looking for something to do while not writing or working from home, surveys honestly kick ass. Here's a list of the ones I use:

Lightspeed Panel: This place sends you e-mails all the time. You earn points for doing the surveys. Each survey is between 75-2000 points. The last one I did, they sent me a palm pilot and Visa prepaid card for $10. I filled out some junk each day for two weeks and when I send it in Monday, they send me another card for $60. Not bad!

You will accumulate Lightspeed points quickly if you stick with it. What I do is save them all up until around October-November then buy stuff for Christmas or simply cash out to PayPal. Yes, you can turn those points directly into PayPal cash!! I like this site the best.

E-rewards- This place mostly deals in shorter surveys geared for business people if you want good money. I technically am the CEO of my writing business right? I take the business surveys and many are worth as much as $12-$25 e-bucks. I like to get gift cards from this place. They show up in about 2-3 weeks for me. I cash out the $50 e-bucks and get gift cards for Gamestop because that's my thing.

Zoompanel- My wife uses this one and I really don't know much about it so won't go into it. She DOES get cool stuff in the mail from them so if you enjoy these surveys, give it a shot.

Here's a quick breakdown of JUST lightspeed panel.

Say you do 1 survey a day M-F. Average survey is 150 points.

If you do this from Jan-November, you are looking at 3000 points per month. You'll probably get much more than this. That means 33000 points by November. The highest priced items are in the 6000 point range and include things like:

$50 Crate & Barrel E-Certificate
Smoked Seasoned Turkey Breasts (Honey Sage) Smoked Seasoned Turkey Breasts (Peppered)

It's a dream come true for kitchen items, dvds, video games, and gift cards.

Or you can cash out each 1150 points for $10 PayPal!

This is great for people who don't even write. My Grandma does these regularly and has an enormous DVD collection from these guys.

SharedReviews

July 15th 2008 15:12
SharedReviews is a site that pays you to write small reviews on products you own. I got $10 a few months ago for 5 reviews on kids DVDs that were jusy laying around my house. You do need to put in the products UPC code I think. The format seems to have changed a little bit. It used to be $2 per review. I'm not sure if it's still the same.

This is actually fun to do once in a while. It won't make you a serious income unless you absolutely love to review things but there is some kind of voting system in place now that could help you out. Be part of the community there and your reviews will get looked over more.

Blogging for Cash!

July 15th 2008 05:06
Well, if you are reading this, odds are you have a blog or have considered creating one. Many people don't realize you can make a good amount of money just by blogging. Companies will pay you to blog about their products, create a blog for them, or just post to a blog a few times a week so it stays fresh and new. Obviously, I'd be terrible at this because I blog in spurts but for the serious blogger, you could make a significant amount of money. Let's take a look at some of the more popular paid blogging sites out there!

ProBlogger

http://jobs.problogger.net/

ProBlogger isn't terribly big but has some very interesting stuff now and then. An example from ProBlogger is: "We're a fun bunch of iPhone enthusiasts looking for someone to contribute to our brand new, comprehensive, professional (but not so serious) iPhone Blog!" This job pays $10 per post DOE. Not too shabby!

Smorty

http://www.smorty.com/

Smorty is similar to ProBlogger but it all goes onto your already established blog. The jobs seem limited as I just signed up to see what was available. The only thing available to me using this blogs address is to blog about diet pills for $6.00. I don't think that would fit in too well...

PayPerPost

Really Long Link

This is similar to Smorty but very large. There seems to be a lot of opportunities available for good bloggers. I tried to sign up to see what they had to offer but the confirmation e-mail seems to take a while. I'll update when I find out.

In addition to these, Orble is a great place to make some money and blog. You get a percentage of the AdSense revenue! Who could ask for more!
