Ebooks and Clickbank. Where the Big Bucks Are!!
June 24th 2009 16:40
Yes, that's correct. Clickbank is where the big players on the Internet make their fortunes. I'm not talking about a couple hundred bucks here either. I know a couple people personally who have topped $100,000 in just a couple of months.
How in the hell is that possible? Well, you may wonder why it takes me so very long to update this blog. I'm researching, hardcore. Some of you know I have been working with one of the biggest names in Affiliate Marketing. I don't have permission to name him but he averages oer $50K per month with his small network of websites and a couple clickbank products.
What does this mean for you?
I'm going to assume you are a freelance writer or other online worker at this time so let's get to it.
On Clickbank, you can sell a virtual product for whatever you like. Research suggests that prices ending in "7" are very appealing right now. 7 is the new 99 cents. Why? I don't know.
What you do is create a useful e-book that is relevant to what you know. I don't recommend the "make money online" niche as that's done to death. If you love fly fishing, a fly fishing e-book may be your thing. If you know the secrets to getting grants for school you don't have to repay, you will make a fortune!
Here are the steps needed to succeed with this method.
1. Brainstorm ideas for your very own e-book (or program if you're able)
2. Narrow it down to one particular thing you will write about
3. Read other e-books (there are tons of free ones) to see how people format them.
4. Write your e-book (or outsource it to someone and clean it up)
5. Register with Clickbank. Do it yourself or use my link : <a Really Long Link

6. Pay the one time $49.95 clickbank fee.
7. Wait for the checks.
You may need to create a landing page where people can read about your product, sign up for newsletters, and actually pay you for your e-book and get the download. This is very easy to do and clickbank will show you how to do a lot of that. You can outsource all of this easily for about $30 for a working template. You just write the information in and you're done.
Sounds too easy right? It's not. Clickbank is swarmed daily by thousands and thousands of people who want to sell products from there. They get a cut for selling it, you get a cut for making it. Everybody wins!
There is a catch. Sometimes, people want a refund. Don't spend all your money at once or you may be in trouble.
I'm dead serious though, it's THAT easy. The hardest part is the e-book itself. I have one now that's at 100 pages which is WAY too long. I'm not sure what to do with it and may break it up. The niche isn't too competitive but I'm researching over the summer to check things out.
Good luck. It's really not hard at all. Half of your competition has e-books that are barely in English or promote something stupid like "clear your skin with grapefruit skins in 2 days!". Use your brain and create something superior.
