My First Large Website Is Coming!!

To my readers,
I have had very positive feedback on this site and that has been more encouraging than you could possibly realize. Many of you have followed along with me since I first started this blog with the goal of helping other work at home moms and dads as well as freelance writers of all experience levels.
Everyone seems very happy with me and all of my posts even though some may be outdated and a few of those sites don't work anymore or simply shut down.
Well, the reason for this post is to let everyone know what I'm going to be up to over the next few months. I was doing some keyword research and came across a local hotel site. This site was terrible. This made me wonder what other sites covered the same areas and what they had to offer. Basically, most of the sites on the first page of Google with the words "Hotel (local cities near me) were crap. They are almost all outdated, are using very old pictures, and don't offer people who visit any useful information about the area.
This was just the extra push I needed to set my plan in motion.
The Plan
To create a hotel affiliate website that will annihilate any and all competition and actually contain information that potential tourists or business people will love.
What I Need To Do
First step is to join a hotel affiliate website. I'm about 1/2 way though with this process right now.
Create engaging content that showcases not just hotels, but local hot spots that other sites don't have. Hot springs, events, things to do and see, etc.. I have a giant list made but no articles just yet.
What This Means For You
I will be updating this blog very regularly. I'm going to show you exactly what I'm doing and how I'm doing it. I'm doing this to hopefully show everyone how to make extra money. I think I have a great thing here and want to share it with you.
I probably won't update it every day but any time I do something significant, it'll be on here right away.
I really want to give this my best and see what happens. If I'm successful, odds are you can do something very similar with just about anything. By showing you what I'm doing, hopefully many of you will try the same thing. Assuming it works well that is
Feel free to check back or subscribe to this blog so you can watch someone just like you jump into the world of Affiliate Marketing (which is what this is). We are writers so remember, we have a significant advantage over others because we can write everything ourselves. We can relate our experiences with others so it's more personal for the visitors to the site.
