SpeakWrite

May 15th 2008 17:33
SpeakWrite is a transcription company with quite a bit of work available for people of all experience levels. They will have you buy a foot pedal because without one, it's a real pain to start and stop audio by hand constantly.

SpeakWrite is a great place to work as I know three people who work for them. I myself am cheap and haven't shelled out money for that blasted foot pedal.

Hi Robert!

Thanks so much for your lead on Speak-write! I was successful in getting through the training to be hired and just started recently. I even have just received my first paycheck! As of today's date, they are closed to new applicant's but I urge everyone interested in a work at home transcription job to keep an eye out for employment opportunities with Speak-write. So far for me they have been great to work for and I am able to have great flexibility with my hours due to my experience with legal transcription.

Thanks again for pointing me this direction and for personally answering my questions. I really appreciate your help with everything.

I have taken part in all of these and love and agree with these reviews. I would like to know what you think of a few new ones like Demand Studios and EduDeposit.com. The only that has paid me so far is EduDeposit and I'm still waiting on approval from Demand. Please update this blog with new ones; they keep popping up!!

You can have my hours! The company sucks. They hire "independent contractors" when they are really employees. They do this so they won't have to deal with benefits, income taxes withheld, etc. They fire people for no real reason and lie about why your contract has been terminated. BEWARE!!
