The Good Stuff.

Here are some of the great places to find real, good paying writing jobs. They vary but you can definitely find something of interest that doesn't completely suck.

I've got some great stuff from here including a few long term $20-$25 per article gigs. You can sell yourself in the Freelancers Seeking Work area and you may be contacted privately. Be careful, there are some spammers and total crap in the Pending area. Use caution if you use Pending to get a jump on the competition. I recommend a secondary email for that specific area. The High and Low paying areas are great and the Non-Paying area is usually anything under .03 cents/word.
UPDATE: This site seems to be gone. You can still look around but it's not what it was.
Michy's Blog.

Michy is great and has a wonderful blog going here. If you can actually write, this is THE place for you. I got a few things published in Boy's Life and a few airline magazines through this forum. Average pay was over $250 each. Publications of all types are featured and are all very professional.
Work At Home Mothers.com

This covers pretty much every money making opportunity you can do at home. I'm a father but still occasionally check the writers area on the forum. It seems to be down today but will surely be back soon. I feel sorry for some of the poor ladies on that site who do telemarketing and such and post their horror stories. Maybe someone can direct them here and they can make some extra cash.
UPDATE: The forum is up and running. Hit it directly HERE: http://www.wahm.com/forum/
Demand Studios
http://www.demandstudios.com/
This company will pay you $15 per article and often has you write for eHow. I hate the eHow format and won't do it but many people really like it. I do hear they offer other jobs as well and I may send them a resume soon just to find out. My eHow experience has been taking crap like "how to put a sprinkler on a garden hose" and similar idiocy. It's painful to list step by step instructions on how to do something so stupid.
I feel eHow should be more like:
Step 1: Try to figure out how to attach sprinkler to garden hose.
Step 2: If you can't figure it out see additional steps.
Step 3: Tie garden hose to a secure location on your roof
Step 4: Tie other end around your neck.
Step 5: Leap off roof.
I may be a bastard though.
