What have I been up to?
September 11th 2009 14:36
I haven't posted as much as I like lately and that's simply because I'm doing very well and have slipped into a bit of a routine. It kind of goes like this:
7AM: torn from sleep by baby smashing me in the face with something.
8AM: Get oldest 2 kids off to school
9AM: Do a little customer service work I've picked up. Takes about 20 mins usually. Feed babies. I keep one customer support app running throughout the day also.
10AM:Write for 1 hour.
11AM: Video Games/watch a movie/nap if possible.
3PM: Get ready for kids home from school. Appointments if there are any.
4PM: Check the usual sites for high paying work only. Go over kids homework/papers. Walk to store or duck pond with them.
5PM: Write some more, make dinner.
6PM: TV/games with kids
7PM: Baths for everyone if needed, get everyone in PJs.
9PM: Everyone should be in bed. Work on a couple websites (they are down and not updated haha. I'll upload tons of pages soon)
10PM: More movies/video games.
Wow, I don't really do much at all do I? It really irks people that this pathetic little routine is making me $2500/month every month with the extra writing and Adsense kicking me up to about $3200-$3500/month.
What that should be is motivation for all the writers out there. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. If you really enjoy writing 10 Demand Studios articles each day (which really, isn't that hard if you compare it to roofing or something) keep it up. If you hate it, cut back to just a couple and find something you LIKE to write about. Write about your favorite thing all day when you have time. You can put those articles on your own site or simply sell them off on Digital Point and similar forums. If anything is rejected, don't forget Constant Content and Daily Article as well as Associated Content which has been overlooked by me for about 6 months.
